Wofford Begins Installation of New Video Board

Wofford College and Capturion Network have begun the installation of a new LED video board at Gibbs Stadium. The new video board will take the place of the original scoreboard in the north endzone.

Wofford Women’s Basketball Schedule Released

Wofford’s women’s basketball head coach Edgar Farmer Jr. has announced his team’s 2010-2011 schedule. The 28-game schedule for the Terriers includes a road trip to the ACC’s Virginia Tech and a home game against the Patriot League’s Bucknell.

Terriers Nearly Sink the Naval Academy

After taking a one goal advantage early in the match, the Terriers give up a goal in the last seconds of the first half off a penalty kick due to a red card inside the box. The men’s soccer team was forced to play with only ten men throughout the entire second half, and was unable to defend the Midshipmen’s one player advantage as they gave up two more goals, losing 3-1. The Terriers drop to 0-1 on the season and the Midshipmen improve to 1-0. View game stats HERE.

Wofford Set To Begin New Radio Show

Wofford Sports Properties, the multimedia rights partner for Wofford College Athletics and an IMG College property, have announced that “Inside Wofford Football” will hit the airwaves this fall. The weekly football coaches show will air from 6:25 to 6:55 pm each Monday night on ESPN Spartanburg at 1400 AM and 97.1 FM and in the Greenville market at 1440 AM.
