2011 Football Gameday at PC
TERRIER GAMEDAY:  Get set for the 2011 season opener at PC!
Are you ready for some football?  Well ready or not the 2011 Wofford football season is here and the Terriers will open the season with a couple of relatively short road trips beginning this Saturday as they make the trip down I-26 to Clinton and battle the Presbyterian Blue Hose.  Wofford enters the season ranked 8th nationally in the pre-season FCS polls.

The “Terrier Gameday” site (click icon) is back up and fans can check out the site for information on every game this year as well as a look ahead to events for the upcoming road contests.

Classes on the Wofford campus will not begin until Monday, but nearly over 150 freshmen taking part in Orientation will make the trip to Clinton for their first taste of Terrier football and cheer on the team.  Wofford and PC last met in 2008 at Gibbs Stadium, but the rivalry dates back to 1914. This will be Wofford’s first trip to the new Bailey Memorial Stadium (opened in 2002) and the first trip to PC in general since 1995, the last year of Wofford’s Division II era.

Tickets for the September 10 game at Clemson are also available by calling Wofford Athletic Ticket Office at 864-597-4090.  Don’t wait, a limited number of lower level seats in the Wofford sections are still available!
