A 6-4 forward, Blair came to Wofford after a stellar prep career in his hometown of Birmingham, Alabama. As a senior in high school, he was one of five finalists for the title of "Mr. Basketball."

Blair was a four-year starter and team captain his senior season. He was also a three-time selection to the NAIA All-District team. He placed among the Top Three in the district in scoring, rebounding, and field goal percentage each of his final two years.

Blair, whose jersey #44 is retired, increased his scoring average each year on campus. As a freshman, he made an immediate impact with a 16.7 points per game average. Blair upped his scoring mark to 18.7 as a sophomore and 19.9 as a junior. During his senior year, Blair shot 61.7 percent from the field in scoring 21.0 points per game. He also averaged a team-best 9.5 rebounds for the second straight season.

Blair was also known for his defense, leading the team in steals in each of his final three seasons. Upon his graduation, he was Wofford's all-time leader in steals. He also held school records for field goals made in a career, free throws made (515) and attempted (721). His game-high of 40 points against Columbia Bible is tied for the fifth-best performance in Wofford history.

He passed away on July 1, 2011.
