Wofford College Athletics

Whitaker was an outstanding quarterback from 1963-66.  He led the team in passing in each of his final three years including a school record 1,146 yards as a senior in 1966.  Whitaker earned all-state honors in 1966 and graduated as the career passing leader with 2,517 yards.
