ROCK HILL, S.C. – The Wofford College men's and women's outdoor track and field teams competed at the adidas Winthrop Invitational this week at the Irwin Belk Track and Field Complex. The Terriers primarily competed in the heptathlon and decathlon, which were held on Thursday and Friday.

In the heptathlon,
Amber Lust took first place with 4645 points and
Megan Dunn was second at 4635 points. Lust was first in the 100-meter hurdles, 200 meters, and second in the long jump. Dunn was second in the shot put and first in the javelin.

Conrad Heinrich won the decathlon with 6375 points, with
William Stout third in 5687 and
T.J. Maxey ninth at 4607. Heinrich was first in the 1500 meters, first in the javelin, third in the long jump, second in the shot put, and second in the high jump. Stout was second in the 1500 meters, third in the javelin, and second in the pole vault. Maxey was fourth in the 1500 meters.

Also on Friday,
Shakaiya Bradford ran the 100-meter hurdles in 15.34 and was 17
th out of 50 competitors in the long jump at 5.20 meters.

Over 30 teams competed in the meet, including Appalachian State, Coastal Carolina, Davidson, Hartford, Radford, UNC Wilmington, USC Upstate and Western Carolina. Â

The Terrier Relays return on March 29 and 30 at Spartanburg High School, the only home meet of the season for Wofford. Â
