Boiling Springs, N.C. – The Wofford men's soccer team lost 5-1 to Gardner-Webb at Greene-Harbison field in Boiling Springs, N.C. The Runnin' Bulldogs got the scoring started early in the first half and found two insurance goals to secure the win.
After 21 minutes of scoreless play, Gardner-Webb found the back of the net when Magnus Moljord scored his second goal of the season thanks to the assist from Petter Johansen. In the 23
rd minute the Runnin' Bulldogs added to their lead when Severin Soerlie scored his second goal of the season off the assist from Jack Hoey.
The Terriers struck back just 15 seconds later when
Sam Ross scored his first goal of the season.
Kevin Davidsson made a run down the right sideline and crossed it into the box where Ross put it in the back of the net.
Gardner-Webb responded in the 32
nd minute when Mads Rismoen scored on a rebound to increase the Bulldog lead back to two going into the halftime break. The Runnin' Bulldogs added two more goals in the second half to secure the win over the Terriers.
Despite the loss the Terriers totaled 8 shots in the game.

The Terriers return to the pitch on Saturday at USC Upstate at 7 PM.
