CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Wofford men's tennis team fell to a 4-0 sweep against UNC Charlotte on Saturday afternoon at the Lifetime Fitness tennis courts. Sophomore

Bryce Keim notched their fourth straight doubles win, though, the 49ers would take the doubles point and first three singles matches to drop Wofford's record to 7-12 overall.

Casasolas and Keim started the day with their fourth win together in No. 2 doubles, outlasting Benjamin Wayand and Ignasi de Rueda, 7-5.

Julian Chousa and
Omar Williams nearly upset Charlotte's No. 32 nationally-ranked pair of Luca Keist and Christoforou, but came up just short 7-5, while
Lucas Cerbelli and
Diego Losada were narrowly edged shortly after, 7-6, by Sam Rice and Oriol Puig Forne to give the 49ers the 1-0 lead.

The 49ers picked up where they left off heading into singles play, taking first sets in five of the six matches before claiming the first three singles matches.

Losada fell first in No. 6 singles to Garcia Moreno in straight sets, as Chousa would come up short against Luca Keist on the No. 1 court, 6-3, 6-1, to push a 3-0 Charlotte lead.

Omar Williams then battled hard in the second set after dropping the first, 6-2, to Ignasi de Rueda on the No. 2 court. Rueda would unfortunately manage to come out on top in the second, 7-5, to clinch the 4-0 win for the 49ers, as the remaining singles matches went unfinished upon the decision.

Next, the Terriers are scheduled to host The Citadel tomorrow, April 14
th, on Senior Day for their last regular season match at Reeves Tennis Center. First serve is scheduled for 10 a.m.
