SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Wofford College rifle team returned to action after a break of over six weeks to host Alabama Birmingham on Saturday morning at the Taylor Center Rifle Range. The Blazers earned a 4575 to 4451 win over the Terriers.
Dan Wesson led the Terriers with a score of 1,132 to place fifth overall. He was third in smallbore at 566 and eight in air rifle at 566.
Scott Condo was seventh overall at 1,114 and
Marcus Stallings was eighth at 1,107.
Andrew Visconti was ninth at 1,098.
Isabella Timmons (554),
Meredith Bean (535) and
Graham Boswell (481) fired air rifle only in the match.
Sophia Flores took individual honors for UAB with a 1,150 aggregate score.
The Terriers will return to action in a home match on February 8, 2020 against The Citadel.
