SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Wofford College rifle team competed against the University of Alabama Birmingham on Saturday morning at the Taylor Center Rifle Range. The Blazers came away with a 4,547 to 3,243 victory.
Wofford, competing with only three shooters, was led by
Isabella Timmons with a total score of 1,124, which included a 553 in smallbore and a 571 in air rifle. She finished fourth overall in the match.
Jessy Delgado (1,029) and
Meredith Bean (1,090) also competed for the Terriers.
Amy Kohan of UAB fired a 1,152 to take first place overall as she was first in the small bore and second in air rifle.
The Terriers complete the weekend doubleheader with a home match on Sunday against Georgia Southern.
