SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Wofford College rifle team hosted VMI at the Joe E. Taylor Center rifle range on Saturday morning. The Keydets won the dual match 4508 to 4230.
 
Wofford was led by Isabella Timmons with a total score of 1,109, which included a 550 in smallbore and a 559 in air rifle to take second place overall. Meredith Bean had a total score of 1,081 and Jessy Delgado had a score of 1,049. In her first career match, Ansley-Brooke Springer fired a 991.  
 
Simon Krauthamer of VMI had an aggregate score of 1,130 to finish first overall.
 
The Terriers will return to action after the semester break on Saturday, January 29, when the team hosts UAB.
