LEXINGTON, Va. – The Wofford College rifle team competed at VMI on Sunday at Kilbourne Hall. The Keydets mixed team was first at 4496, followed by the Keydets women at 4401 and Wofford at 4361.
Marcus Stallings led the Terriers with a score of 1,107 to finish sixth overall. He fired a 556 in small bore and a 551 in air rifle.
Isabella Timmons was eighth overall (546 small bore, 556 air), followed by
Jason Kellinger (534 small bore, 543 air) and
Meredith Bean (528 small bore, 547 air).
Jessy Delgado fired air rifle only with a 504 score.
Overall, James Doucett of the VMI mixed team took first place with a 1,138 aggregate score along with first place in small bore and second place in air rifle.
The Terriers will compete at the NCAA Qualifier on February 21, then will take part in the Southern Conference Championship from March 6-8 in Charleston.
