DAVIDSON, N.C. – Wofford's men's tennis team took home their fifth win of the season on Sunday afternoon, a 6-1 victory over the Davidson Wildcats.
It was another strong showing from the double pairings of Wofford as they took all three matches to sweep the doubles point.
Will Fullett and
Ashe Ray won convincingly 6-1 as the #3 pairing, while the newly found duo of
Javi Casasolas and
Callum Rendle took away a 6-4 win. The steady
Omar Williams and
Bryce Keim pairing wrapped up the sweep with a 6-4 victory as well.
Keim showed off his abilities in singles with a dominating 6-0, 6-4 win, while Rendle got his win at the #2 position in straight sets, 6-3, 6-2. Williams won another match as the #1 singles player for Wofford, 6-4, 6-2 in straight sets. Fullett has been a force as the #6 competitor, winning another match, this time by scores of 7-6, 6-4.
Diego Losada rounded out a well-played match for the Terriers with a 6-1, 7-5 win.
