CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Wofford College rifle team had their first match of the season on Saturday against The Citadel at the Inouye Marksmanship Center. The Bulldogs were first at 4,604 points, followed by Wofford with 4,377 and The Citadel women's team was third with 4,364 points.
Wofford was led by
Isabella Timmons with a total score of 1,123, which included a 553 in smallbore and a 570 in air rifle to place fifth overall. In his first career match, Garrett Dall was ninth overall with an 1,111 (549 small bore, 562 air).
Ansely-Brooke Springer had a 1,086 aggregate (530 small bore, 556 air) and
Jessy Delgado had a 1,057 aggregate (508 small bore, 549 air).
Charlotte Welsh of The Citadel had an aggregate score of 1,154 to take first place overall.
The Terriers will be at home on Sunday, October 16, as they host North Georgia at the Joe E. Taylor Center.
