STATESBORO, Ga. – The Wofford College rifle team was defeated by Georgia Southern on Sunday at the Shooting Sports Education Center. The Eagles, ranked #17 in the nation, posted a score of 4,657 to the Terriers mark of 4,362.
Wofford was led by
Isabella Timmons with an aggregate score of 1,122 to take ninth place overall. She was the top Terrier in both small bore (551) and air (571) as she tied her career-best in air rifle. Garrett Dall fired an 1,104 (542 small bore, 562 air) as he tied his career-best in air rifle as well.
Jessy Delgado had a 1,081 (526 small bore, 555 air), while AnselyBrooke Springer had a 1,055 (500 small bore, 555 air).
Charlie Yang had a 488 in air rifle only.

The Eagles took nine of the top ten aggregate spots, led by Addy Burrow with a score of 1,182. She was first in both small bore (585) and air rifle (597).
The Terriers will travel to VMI on Saturday, November 12 to face the Keydets.
