SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Wofford College rifle team was defeated by VMI on Saturday morning at the Taylor Center Rifle Range. The Keydets fired a 4,535 to the Terriers score of 4,268.
 
Wofford was led by Isabella Timmons with an aggregate score of 1,116 to take third place overall. She was the top Terrier in both small bore (546) and air (570). Garrett Dall fired a 1,104 (542 small bore, 562 air) as he was fifth overall. Jessy Delgado had a 1,028 (501 small bore, 527 air), while Ansely-Brooke Springer had a 1,020 (474 small bore, 546 air). Charlie Yang had a score of 508 in air rifle only.
 
Kolton Dobson of VMI was the top individual with a score of 1,144 as he was first in air rifle, while Christopher Hicks of VMI was first in small bore (565).
 
It was the final match of the semester for the Terriers, who will return to action on Saturday, January 28, when they host UAB.
