SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Wofford College rifle team hosted The Citadel at the Joe E. Taylor Center rifle range on Saturday. The Citadel won with 4,584 points, followed by Wofford at 4,309 in second place and The Citadel women with 4,154.
 
Wofford was led by Isabella Timmons with a total score of 1,105, which included a 541 in smallbore and a 564 in air rifle to finish fifth overall. Meredith Bean had a score of 1,070, Ansely-Brooke Springer had a 1,068 and Jessy Delgado fired a 1,066 for the Terriers.
 
James Hart IV of The Citadel had an aggregate score of 1,165 to finish first overall and Charlotte Welsh was a close second at 1,163.
 
The Terriers will have back-to-back road matches next weekend as they visit Georgia Southern on Saturday and the University of North Georgia on Sunday.
