SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Wofford College rifle team hosted the University of Alabama Birmingham on Saturday at the Taylor Center Rifle Range. The Blazers came away with a 4,547 to 4,389 win over the Terriers.
 
Wofford was led by Garett Dall with an aggregate score of 1,120 to take eighth place overall, which included a 554 in smallbore which was fourth. Ansely-Brooke Springer was ninth overall with an 1,116. Charlie Yang posted a 1,086, while Jessy Delgado had a 1,061. Chanson Bullard had a career-best 546 in air rifle only and Allie Grace Frank had a 530 in air rifle only in her first competition.
 
Christopher Comstock and Amy Kohan of UAB tied for first place with a 1,141 aggregate. Comstock was first in air rifle at 579 and Kohan was first in smallbore at 574.
 
The Terriers will travel to Georgia Southern on Sunday, November 5 for their next match.
