SPARTANBURG, S.C. – On Saturday, the Wofford College women's tennis team won 7-0 over Emmanuel at the Reeves Tennis Center. The Terriers won the doubles point and then swept all six singles matches in straight sets for the win.    
 
In doubles action, Emely Kahrs and Brianna Wilbur started things with a 6-1 win at the #2 position. Catherine Blouin and Chloe Elliott then won 6-1 at the #3 position to clinch the doubles point. The #1 doubles match was unfinished with Wofford leading 4-2.
 
Singles began with a 6-1, 6-0 win at the #3 position by Lily Woods. Emely Kahrs won at the #4 position 6-1, 6-0 and then Brianna Wilbur clinched the match with a 6-3, 6-2 win at the #2 position. After Breda Brennan picked up a 6-2, 6-0 win at the #1 position, Grace Agster won 6-1, 6-1 at the #5 position and Catherine Blouin won 6-1, 6-1 at the #6 position to finish the Terrier sweep.
 
"I thought we came out really strong in doubles and carried that momentum into our singles matches," said head coach Krissy Hall. "I am proud of our energy and mindset this weekend in the pair of wins."
 
Wofford (4-2) will remain at home when they host North Carolina Central on Friday, February 16, at 2:00 p.m.
