Austin played his freshman season at nearby Mauldin High School and club soccer at Carolina Elite Soccer Academy (CESA)… After his freshman season, Tuggle joined the United States Soccer Development Academy via the Charleston Battery Academy… During his time with the Battery, Tuggle helped the team to two top four league finishes and the National Playoffs… Off the field, Tuggle volunteers his time with the local Habitat for Humanity chapter.

PERSONAL: Born on February 16, 1998 in Greenville, S.C.... Son of Eric and Anne Tuggle... Sister, Sarah, played soccer at Davidson for four years... Majoring in psychology.
