Carl Brophy joined the Wofford coaching staff in the summer of 2023.
In 2022, he served as a graduate assistant coach at the University of North Georgia. The team won their opening round game in the Peach Belt Conference tournament and Joe McInnes was named second team All-Conference.
As a student-athlete at Erskine, Brophy played in 31 career games with 20 starts as a defender. He graduated from Erskine in 2021 with a degree in business.
A native of South Carolina, he played his senior season at T.L. Hanna High School where he served as team captain and was selected to play in the North-South game. Â He spent his junior year at Wando High School and played his first two seasons at Irmo High School.
