Jake Douvas 2022 HS

Jake Douvas

Jake Douvas joined the men’s soccer coaching staff in the summer of 2020. He enters his third season with the program in 2022.

Douvas previously spent the 2019-2020 season as an assistant coach with SC United FC ECNL 06, posting a 10-4-1 record. He also worked with the SC United Bantams in the USL league 2.
    
Before SC United, he spent the 2018 season as an assistant coach for Quincy College in Massachusetts. He helped the Granite to an NCJAA postseason appearance. Additionally, he helped guide Gann Academy to the 2018 MBIL championship and the NEPSAC semifinals. He got his start as a coach working with GPS Massachusetts for three years.
 
Douvas played for the Rhode Island Reds FC in the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) from 2015-2017 and helped them to a third-place finish in the Northeast conference in 2016. He also played for the New Hampshire Bobcats in the UPSL and played in the U-19 USYS region I 2015 championships after winning the Rhode Island state championship.
     
He earned his bachelor’s degree in business management from Bentley University in 2018 and a master’s in sports management from the University of South Carolina in 2020. Douvas currently holds a USSF C coaching license and an English FA Level 1 in Talent Identification.
