Thomas Hunter

2016 marks Hunter’s first season on Wofford’s coaching staff. Hunter returns to the Terriers after starring as a goalkeeper from 2006-2009. During his time at Wofford, helped lead the team to unprecedented heights during his senior season in 2009 when they captured the Southern Conference regular season and tournament championships. Hunter also experienced individual highs in 2009, as he tied the school record for most shutouts in a season and was named the Southern Conference player of the week. 

After graduating from Wofford, Hunter began his professional playing career. He spent time with the Chattanooga Hawks of the National Premier Soccer League from 2010-13, where he was named a first team selection as a goalkeeper in 2011. After that, he moved on to the Atlanta Silverbacks of the North American Soccer League before continuing his career abroad in the Philippines and Finland.
