Biography
2015-16: Appeared in 21 singles matches and 14 doubles matches… Led the team with 13 singles wins, all of which occurred from the #1 position…Earned 1st team all-conference honors for the second straight year… Had five match singles winning streak to begin the season, winning 10 consecutive sets… Also won four consecutive matches later in the season, which included conference wins over Samford (March 12) and Mercer (March 13)… Competed in the #1 or #2 slot in all 14 of the doubles matches in which he appeared… Produced a 3-2 record when partnered with Andrew Graham in the #2 position… Also won three doubles matches from the #1 position partnered with Parks Thompson.
2014-15: Earned All-Southern Conference Singles First Team honors … Competed in 20 singles matches, going 16-2 overall and 5-1 in conference play all from the no. 2 position … Came back to win after dropping first set five times … Played in 20 doubles matches, nine from the no. 1 spot and 11 from the no. 2 spot … Partnered with Rob Galloway at the no. 1 position, going 5-1 … Teamed with Trevor Gostkowski and Andrew Graham at the no. 2 position, going 4-6 overall at that spot (3-4 with Gostkowski, 1-2 with Graham).
2013-14: Named to the Southern Conference All-Freshman team … Played in 19 singles matches earning a 10-9 record, going 4-5 in conference competition … Played all 19 matches at the No. 2 position … Earned conference wins over Georgia Southern, The Citadel, Davidson and Chattanooga … Competed in 21 doubles matches, earning a 15-6 record … Earned a 6-2 mark in conference doubles play … Played 15 matches at No. 1 with Rob Galloway (10-5) and six matches at No. 2 with Walker Heffron (5-1).
HIGH SCHOOL: Played tennis at Sylvania High School… Was a part of the NSW State team in 2008… Sports Blue Award recipient in 2006… Won the School Sports Award in 2007 and in 2009… Received the Letter of Commendation and High Achievement in 2010 from Sylvania… First Place in Geography in 2007…
