Seth Flanagan took over as head coach of the Wofford rifle program in the 2020-21 season after spending two seasons as an assistant coach.
The team was seventh at the past two Southern Conference Championships, with senior Isabella Timmons tenth in the individual standings in 2023 and Ansely-Brooke Springer leading the team in 2024. At the 2022 Southern Conference Championship, the team was eighth overall. During the shortened 2020-21 season, Wofford was seventh overall at the Southern Conference Championship and Flanagan was named SoCon Coach of the Year. As an assistant coach during the 2019-20 season, Dan Wesson won the Southern Conference individual air rifle championship and earned All-SoCon honors.
Flanagan spent four seasons as a member of the Wofford rifle team.
The native of Washington, D.C. graduated in 2018 from Wofford with a degree in biology and was named to the Southern Conference Academic Honor Roll. He also is director of inclusive engagement at Wofford.
