2026: Appeared in 51 games with 50 starts at both first base and designated player… Finished second on the team with 37 runs scored and third on the team with 51 hits… Totaled seven doubles, one home run, and 21 RBI while batting .315 for the year… Led the team with 199 putouts and a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage… Contributed to a team-high 12 double plays… The all-time program leader for career hits (121), second highest career batting average (.338) and on-base percentage (.406)… Batted 3-of-4 with a double, two RBI, and two runs scored against Monmouth (2/7)… Went 2-of-4 with two RBI and two runs scored against Morgan State (2/20)… Against Robert Morris (2/20) had two RBI… Batted 2-of-3 with two RBI and two runs scored against USC Upstate (2/24)… Was 2-of-5 with two RBI against Georgia Southern (2/28) in the Tiger Invitational… Became the first player in program history to reach 100 career hits at Mercer (3/28)… Had a walk-off hit against Samford (4/4)... Led the team in runs scored… Awarded SoCon Player of the Week on February 17 as Wofford’s first position player to win the award in program history... Went 2-for-4 with two runs scored against Towson (2/7) ... Between February 14 and 16, went 11-for-15 with three runs scored in five games played... Against Tennessee State (2/28), went 2-for-2 with two runs scored, three RBI and a triple... Went 3-for-4 with one run scored against Gardner-Webb (3/11)... Against Furman (3/22), went 2-for-4 with two runs scored, one RBI and a triple.
2024: Played 21 games with 19 starts while hitting .419… Added 26 hits, 14 runs, three doubles, eight RBI and four steals… Recorded first hit at Mercer (3/23) … In game two of a doubleheader at Mercer (3/24), reached four times with two hits and two walks alongside two RBI… Added two hits with two RBI and a steal at Gardner-Webb (3/27) … Against Samford (3/30), tallied two hits, a walk and two RBI… Scored four runs at Chattanooga (4/7) with two hits, an RBI, a walk and a steal… Had two hits and two walks in game two of a doubleheader against UNCG (5/3) with a stolen base… Posted two hits in each of Wofford’s final two SoCon Tournament games against Mercer (5/8) and Samford (5/9)… Named to the Southern Conference Academic Honor Roll.
HIGH SCHOOL: Earned four letters in softball at South Aiken High School … In 2021 she led the team in batting average (.597), hits, runs scored and stolen bases as she earned All-State and All-Region honors … During the shortened 2020 season had a .667 batting average … In 2019 was named All-Region with a .421 batting average … During the 2018 season as an eighth grader was named the team's offensive MVP with a .396 batting average along with All-Region honors … Also played golf, winning a region title in 2021 and finishing tenth in the state … Played soccer during her senior year, scoring eight goals with four assists to earn team offensive MVP honors … A three-time Scholar-Athlete.
PERSONAL: Birthday is March 9 … Daughter of Steve and Kim Platte … Brother, James, plays football at The Citadel and brother, John, played soccer at Belmont Abbey … Was the first player to sign a letter of intent to play softball at Wofford... Majoring in chemistry.
