2025: Started 24 games with 25 total appearances in the circle… Pitched 18 complete games, 28^th in the nation, with four shutouts... Topped the team with the first sub-2.00 ERA in program history at 1.99, ranking 27^th in the nation... Went 14-9 on the season, leading the team in wins, and setting the program record for most wins in a season... Added 86 strikeouts with just 28 walks in 151.0 innings of work… Was named SoCon Pitcher of the Week on February 10… Named First-Team All-Southern Conference… Made first start of the season against Towson (2/7) and went the complete game with seven strikeouts and one earned run… First four starts of the season were all complete games, capped off with back-to-back complete game shutouts at Stetson (2/14) and Fairfield (2/16)... Accomplished a career high in strikeouts against North Dakota (2/27), fanning nine batters in nine innings pitched in the eventual loss... Tossed a complete game shutout against South Dakota (3/14) with four hits allowed and five strikeouts... Came on in relief against Winthrop (4/1) and pitched five innings with one hit allowed and six strikeouts to earn her 10^th win of the season... The next day at No. 10 South Carolina (4/2), threw the complete game with six hits allowed and held the seventh-ranked scoring offense to just two runs... Threw three complete game wins in her next three starts against Mercer (4/4), Western Carolina (4/12) and Chattanooga (4/18) ... Against Chattanooga (4/18), allowed only four hits with one run given up in the 6-1 win... Against ETSU (4/26), pitched a complete-game shutout with four hits and four strikeouts... Named to the CSC Academic All-District Team.

2024: Started 18 games with 26 total appearances in the circle… Topped the team and SoCon with a 2.15 ERA alongside a 9-6 record, tying for the team lead in wins… Added 66 strikeouts with just 38 walks in 124.0 innings of work… Was named the program’s first SoCon Pitcher of the Week on February 12 and earned the program’s first SoCon Pitcher of the Month award for February… Named First-Team All-Southern Conference… Made Terrier debut with 0.2 innings of relief work against Eastern Kentucky (2/8) in the program’s first game… Made first start against Robert Morris (2/9) and delivered a complete game shutout with four punchouts to secure the program’s first win… Did not allow an earned run in her first five appearances until surrendering one in game six to Buffalo (3/1) … Tossed a complete game at Chattanooga (4/6) with just one run allowed to secure the win behind seven strikeouts… Pitched 10.0 innings for the win against Western Carolina (4/13), striking out eight with no walks… At Furman (4/20), pitched all 12.0 innings with three strikeouts and no walks to pick up the win… Tossed a complete game shutout at ETSU (4/27) with four strikeouts… Added another complete game shutout against Gardner-Webb (5/1) with three punchouts… Tossed all 10.0 innings of Wofford’s first SoCon Tournament win against ETSU (5/8) with no walks and four strikeouts… Named to the Southern Conference Academic Honor Roll… Named CSC Academic All-District.

BEFORE WOFFORD: Played the 2023 season at Birmingham-Southern … Named the SAA Pitcher of the Year and Newcomer of the Year, as she led the SAA with 16 victories and racked up 128 strikeouts in 124 innings pitched … Made three appearances without allowing a hit … At the plate, hit .312 with 37 RBI as she started all 40 games.
 
HIGH SCHOOL: At Chamblee High School, earned a total of twelve letters in softball, swimming and lacrosse … Served as team captain twice … As a senior in 2021 was DeKalb County Player and Pitcher of the Year, Region Pitcher of the Year and All-State selection… A four-time All-DeKalb county selection … Holds school records in single season ERA, RBIs and doubles … Also played lacrosse, earning Offensive Player of the Year honors in lacrosse … Member of the National Honor Society and Beta Club.

PERSONAL: Birthday is January 19 … Daughter of David and Laura Axelson … Father played football at Presbyterian College and sister, Mary, played lacrosse at Berry College … Majoring in biology.
