2025: Appeared in 20 games with nine starts... In 92 innings pitched, had a 6-6 record with 69 strikeouts, six complete games, two shutouts and two saves... Had a 2.43 ERA to rank 80^th best in the nation and sixth in the Southern Conference... Ranked fourth in the SoCon for hits allowed per nine innings (5.78), fourth for WHIP (1.18), and seventh for saves… First multi-save season in program history... Named to the SoCon All-Freshman Team... Named SoCon Pitcher of the Week on February 24… Made first collegiate appearance against Dayton (2/7), tossing two innings with two hits and one strikeout... Made first collegiate start against Youngstown State (2/8), pitching the complete game with four strikeouts to secure first win… Earned the win against Fairfield (2/15) … Recorded first save in one-third of an inning’s work against Colgate (2/21) … Added another save against NC A&T (2/21) with 2.1 innings of action and five punchouts… Started against SC State (2/22), earning the win with a complete game and 10 strikeouts, a freshman record for the program… Added seven strikeouts against Furman (2/23) … Hurled a complete game at USC Upstate (3/26) for the win with just four hits surrendered and a pair of punchouts… Picked up the win in relief against Mercer (4/5) after posting four strikeouts, no runs, and no hits in 5.1 innings… Started at Western Carolina (4/13), allowing just two hits in a shutout with eight strikeouts… Tossed a complete game against ETSU (4/27) with four strikeouts.

HIGH SCHOOL: Earned four letters and three all-conference player awards in softball at Porter Ridge High School … During her senior season had a 2.78 ERA with 104 strikeouts while also hitting two home runs and 35 hits … As a junior, she was named Pitcher of the Year with 140 strikeouts and a 2.63 ERA on the season … The team made the South Carolina 4A state playoffs in 2021,2022 and 2023 while she was on the team... Member of the National Honor Society and Beta Club.  
 
PERSONAL: Birthday is December 21 … Daughter of Mark and Michelle Salo … Planning on majoring in business.
