Wofford Summer League Baseball Honors

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – With summer wooden bats leagues in full swing, several Wofford baseball players have been honored as All-Stars. Over twenty Terriers are in leagues stretching from the Outer Banks of North Carolina to the shores of Hawaii.

In the Coastal Plains League, Mac Doyle has been named a starter in the outfield and he is joined by Konstantine Diamaduros. Doyle is playing for the Florence Red Wolves, while Diamaduros is in his second season as an All-Star for the Forest City Owls. Doyle will also take part in the CPL Home Run Derby slated for Monday, July 19 at McNair Field in Forest City. The All-Star Game will take place on Tuesday, July 20.

Ryan Traylor, playing for the Spartanburg Blue Eagles, was named an All-Star in the Southern Collegiate Baseball League. He was the starting pitcher in the contest played on July 14 at Russell C. King Field. Landon Bennett earned an All-Star nod for the Atlanta Astros in the Sunbelt League.

Out in the Hawaii Collegiate League, Mason Bradley will be a reserve pitcher in the All-Star game on July 19.
