FOOTBALL PROMO PREVIEW: Church Youth Group Day set for October 2
Wofford Campus Ministry and Wofford Sports Marketing have announced that the annual "Church Youth Group Day" will be Saturday, October 2 as the Terriers host Furman in the 84th renewal of South Carolina's oldest football rivalry - dating to 1889.  The kick-off time for the game has not been announced.

This event was previously known as UMYF GameDay. Wofford chaplain and Perkins-Prothro professor of religion Ron Robinson spoke about changes coming for 2010 event.

"For decades Wofford has hosted United Methodist Youth for an annual GameDay.  Over the past few years I have noticed that many of the youth who attend aren't Methodist, but simply come with their friends. Several said,"I wish my church did this."  So, we decided simply to broaden the scope of our invitation to include youth from any church who want to experience a fantastic day on a college campus."
