Belcher was also heavily involved off the field, holding a 4.0 GPA in high-school while serving as student government president and a member of the National Honor Society and Mu Alpha Theta. Belcher plans to major in the pre-med program.
POLSON: "Brock is an outstanding example of a true-student athlete. He's a Wofford scholar, and puts in an incredible amount of dedication on and off the field. He will see time at the midfield and defense during his time at Wofford."

8500Jonathan Dean (MF, 5'8", 145, Macon, Ga.): Dean joins Wofford after starting the last two years at the Stratford Academy in Macon. Dean helped the team to a 33-4-3 record, earning region and state championships in both the 2012 and 2013 campaigns. Dean was the captain of the 2013 team. He was also an all-state section for Stratford Academy's cross country and track and field teams. Off the field, Dean was a member of the Key club and Pep club, and volunteered his time at local animal shelters and food banks. He is currently undecided on a major.
POLSON: "We're excited for Jonathan to join us this spring. He brings a tremendous work rate in the midfield and will compete for playing time right away. He has the work ethic and ability to be really special to our program."

8505Darby Martens (D/MF, 6'1", 165, Spartanburg, S.C.): Martens comes to the Terriers after redshirting his first collegiate season at the College of Charleston. Prior to his stint in Charleston, Martens played at Wando High School, where in 2014 he helped lead the team to a 29-1-1 record and a 4A state championship. In addition to a state championship, Martens also received All-State honors and played in the Clash of the Carolinas high school All-Star game. Martens is majoring in business economics.
POLSON: "Darby will compete for time immediately at the outside back position. Coming from College of Charleston, he reads the game well and has a great understanding of how it's played. Having him on campus this spring will give him valuable time to understand our system and develop."
