Andrew Novak won his second tournament of the fall season on Tuesday afternoon as the senior led Wofford to a 13
th place finish at the East Bay Deli Classic at Kiawah. The tournament, hosted by Charleston Southern, took place Sunday through Tuesday at the par 72 Turtle Point Golf Course and included 22 teams.

Novak shot 70, 68 and 71 in his three tournament rounds to finish with a total score of 209, five under par and two strokes better than runner-up Jack Smith of Tennessee. The win is the fourth of Novak's collegiate career. All three of Novak's rounds were round bests among Wofford players and his round of 68 tied for the lowest round in the tournament in a field of 118 golfers.

Novak finished in the top 10 in all five tournaments this fall and was one of only two Wofford players (along with Grab) to be in the lineup in every tournament. The native of Mt. Pleasant led the field in par four scoring (five under) and led the field in birdies as well with 15.

"It's been a fun semester and I've been playing some good golf," said Novak. "It means a lot to be playing as well as I have, because it's all to the benefit of the team. Overall, it's been a good fall and I hope to continue with this level of play in the spring."

Jeremy Grab was the second best golfer for the Terriers. The senior recorded rounds of 72, 76 and 75 to finish in a tie for 27
th place with a three day total of 209. Grab's score counted all three rounds of the tournament and the native of Charleston finished in the top 27 in four of his five tournaments this fall.

Evan Grenus, playing in the third spot for the Terriers, finished tied for 69
th place. Grenus finished with a score of 231 thanks to rounds of 74, 76 and 81.

Harrison Frye and
Walker Simas finished T105 and T112, respectively. Frye tallied rounds of 85, 81 and 77 while Simas shot 84, 85, 87 over the course of the tournament.

Wofford finished in a tie for 13
th place with Nebraska with a team total of 905. Tennessee won the tournament by shooting 867 as a team, edging Augusta University by four strokes. College of Charleston finished third, Jacksonville State finished fourth and Coastal Carolina took home a fifth place finish.

Vic Lipscomb's Terriers begin spring play on Feb. 27-28 as the team competes in the Wexford Intercollegiate at Wexford Plantation in Hilton Head. Â
