SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Wofford College rifle team competed on Saturday against VMI in the Taylor Center Rifle Range. The VMI coed team was first with 4426 points, followed by the VMI women at 4347 points and Wofford with 4320 points.
 
Katie Gorlo again led the team with personal best scores in smallbore (543) and air (564). She finished the match in second place overall with a 1107 total. Marcus Stallings (527/553), Scott Condo (532/539), Seth Flanagan (518/542), Zach Hunter (514/541), Andrew Visconti (538/543), Nick Hunter (519/548), Brandy Barnes (475/499) and Reid Schuster (542) also shot for the Terriers.  Gorlo finished fifth in smallbore and fourth in air for the day.
 
The Terriers will be off for the semester break and return to action on January 20, 2018 against Georgia Southern and The Citadel in Statesboro.
