SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Wofford men's soccer coach
Ralph Polson has announced the signing of four players on Wednesday. The Terriers added two forwards, a defender and a goalkeeper for their 2018 roster.

"While this class is few in numbers, we feel they possess the skill to make an immediate impact on our team," Said Polson. "This coupled with our current roster will help us return to the success of previous years."

Saviour Anyagri, Defender, Garu, Ghana – Originally from Garu, Ghana, Anyagri was a four-year starter at The Hotchkiss School in Lakeville, Connecticut…Helped his team to a Founder League title in 2015-16…Was named to the All-Star team of the League and All-State for his performance during the 2017-18 season with Hotchkiss…He has played for the prestigious clubs Beachside SC, Dreamers FC and Black Rock FC. In 2016, he helped Beachside SC win the Connecticut State Cup and helped Black Rock FC win the Connecticut State Cup in 2017.

Shane Berson, Goalkeeper, Greer, S.C. – Berson has joined Wofford this Spring…He transferred from Central Florida where he redshirted in the fall of 2017…Three year starter at Riverside High School from 2015-17 where as a team captain he was named first team All-State, first team All-Region and an All-American…Six year member of CESA where he was a four year team captain of a team that won State Cup five times…Participated in National League four times and also was a 2015 Region III champion…Was named the 2015 Region III gold glove winner…Attended the National Training Center for US Soccer in 2015.

Polson on Berson – "Shane has the size and skillset to be an outstanding Division I goalkeeper and we feel that he will compete from day one. Getting him on campus this upcoming spring allows him to get accustomed to our team and philosophy."

Brett Goodman, Forward, Savannah, Ga. – Five year member of the Tormenta FC 99 where he helped them reach the Georgia State Cup Final Four every year since 2014…In '14, '15 and '17 his teams reached the finals while winning in 2017…Assisted his team to a second place finish in the Region 3 Premier League in 2017…Played for both Georgia and South Carolina ODP teams growing up and was invited to train with FC Utrecht Academy in Holland...Played his only year of high school soccer his Junior year at Savannah Country Day School,  in which, he scored 35 goals and tallied 14 assists…He was named to the All-Greater Savannah Soccer Team and the All-Region Team…A current member of the National Honor Society and was awarded the Savannah Country Day School Scholar-Athlete Award.

Ethan Willie, Forward, Nassau, Bahamas – Attended The Darlington School in his Junior and Senior years while playing for Darlington School Soccer Academy both seasons…Received the Golden Boot after scoring 41 goals during his junior season…In his native Bahamas, he won the BAISS Championship for soccer in the 2015-16 season at St. Andrews International School.
