CHARLESTON, S.C. -- With a 3-0 (25-15, 25-14, 25-16) win over The Citadel Bulldogs Sunday afternoon in the McAlister Fieldhouse, the Wofford College Terriers ended their season with a win.

The win ended Wofford’s season at 13-21 overall and 3-12 in SoCon play and snapped a nine-match losing steak that started on October 17th.

Rachel Woodlee paced Wofford with 10 kills on 21 swings with two errors for a .381 hitting percentage.  Stacy Byrd chipped in seven kills and .375 hitting percentage.  Bekah Dorsey handed out 14 assists, while Tara Gough passed out 12 assists.  Reagan Styles picked up 13 digs, and Arden Anderson had six total blocks.

In the first set, Wofford sprinted out to a 9-2 lead as Woodlee served five consecutive points.  Wofford never slowed the pace as they took the opening frame 25-15.  Woodle had four of her ten kills in the set.  

Set two started with the Terriers breaking a 3-3 tie with a 7-2 run to take a 10-5 lead.  Wofford rode Woodlee’s serve for the second straight game, this time it was a six consecutive serves.  The Terriers went on the take the set 25-14.

In what would be the Terriers’ final set of the season, Wofford opened up a one point lead, 7-6, to a five point lead, 13-8.  The Terriers cruised to the 25-16 set three win.

Wofford out The Citadel .308 to -.019 in the match and won the battle at the net with nine total team blocks compared to the Bulldog’s two.
