THE DAVIDSON GAME
The Wofford men’s basketball team continues a four-game road swing on Wednesday night with a visit to Davidson ... Wofford enters the game having won six in a row and twelve of the last thirteen games overall ... The Terriers are currently ranked #23 in the collegeinsider.com Mid-Major poll ... The six-game winning streak is the longest current mark in the SoCon ... The Terriers are 19-8 on the season and 11-3 in SoCon play, which is second in the South Division and the second-best conference record overall ... The 19 overall wins are tied for the most by any Southern Conference team this season ... On Saturday afternoon, Wofford came back from eight points down at the half to defeat Samford 59-54 ... Davidson is 13-12 overall and 8-5 in conference play, which is third in the SoCon South ... They are entering the game after a 75-72 win at Western Carolina Saturday night ... The Terriers won the first meeting this season 68-62 in Spartanburg ... Wofford is led by Noah Dahlman with 17.1 points per game, which is fourth in the SoCon ... Tim Johnson leads the team with 7.3 rebounds per game which is fifth in the conference ... Junior Salters became the 40th Terrier to reach the 1,000 point mark with a three pointer against Appalachian State and Noah Dahlman reached the 1,000 point mark against Kent State in the Cable Car Classic ... ABOUT WOFFORD
The Terriers are led by junior Noah Dahlman, who is averaging 17.1 points per game and 6.3 rebounds per game this season ... Dahlman is fourth in the conference in scoring and eighth in rebounding, while his field goal percentage of 58.4% is second in the conference and seventh in the nation ... Seniors Corey Godzinski and Junior Salters have also started this season ... Salters is scoring 7.8 points per game ... Godzinski has 2.3 rebounds per game and 4.3 points a game ... Junior Tim Johnson is the team leader in rebounds at 7.3 per game along with 6.0 points ... Johnson is fifth in the conference in rebounds ... Fellow junior Terry Martin has 4.1 points and 3.0 rebounds, while junior Drew Crowell is redshirting this season ... Junior guards Jamar Diggs and Cameron Rundles joined the team last season as transfers and are eligible this season, with Rundles starting the first ten games of the season with 6.1 points and 2.5 rebounds and Diggs averaging 8.6 points that includes 88 points from the free throw line ... At point guard, sophomores Brad Loesing and Jason Dawson share time, with Loesing starting all 27 games with 3.3 assists per game and is fourth in the league with a 2.4 assist/turnover ratio ... Dawson has played 13.0 minutes per game and has 3.1 points per game ... Sophomore Kevin Giltner is averaging 3.8 points per game, which includes 21 three-pointers ... Sophomore walk-ons Joseph Tecklenberg and Matt Steelman played extensively against Lees-McRae ... The freshmen joining the team are forwards Nathan Parker and Domas Rinksalis, along with guard Taylor Wagener ... Parker leads the group with 52 points, while Rinksalis and Wagener each have scored as well.

COACH MIKE YOUNG
Wofford’s Mike Young (Emory and Henry ‘86) is entering his eighth season as Wofford’s head coach and has a record of 109-125.Young has spent 21 overall seasons at Wofford, having spent 13 years as an assistant coach to Richard Johnson. Young is a native of Radford, Virginia and a graduate of Emory & Henry where he was a four-year letterman and team captain as a junior and senior. After two years as an assistant coach at Emory & Henry, Young served as an assistant coach to Oliver Purnell at Radford for one year before joining the Wofford staff in 1989.

NATIONAL RANKINGS
In the latest update of www.realtimerpi.com, the Terriers are 92nd in the nation, the highest of any SoCon team. College of Charleston is next among conference teams at 113. In the collegeinsider.com Mid-Major Top 25, Wofford has entered the poll at #23. Also ranked from the SoCon are Western Carolina (20) and College of Charleston (21).

THE SIX-GAME STREAK
The Terriers has a six-game winning streak ended on January 22 at College of Charleston. The six-game streak was the longest since the 1994-95 season, the Terriers last in NCAA Division II, which was a ten-game winning streak. The previous best NCAA Division I winning streak was five games in the 2004-05 season which included a win over Auburn.

THE NEXT SIX-GAME STREAK
After ending the six-game streak, the Terriers have responded with another six-game winning streak. In five of the six games, the wins have been by ten points or more. Twice in the six games Wofford has shot 50% or better and Wofford had the lead on the glass in four of the six games. However in all six games the Terriers have been outshot from the free throw line.

NINETEEN WINS ...
So far this season, the Terriers have put together a 19-8 overall record. The 19 wins are the most for Wofford since moving to NCAA Division I in the 1995-96 season. The last two seasons Wofford had 16 wins, with the 2008-09 mark of 16-14 the first winning season in the Division I era. With four regular season games left, plus the SoCon Tournament, the Terriers will have another winning season in 2009-10.
