The Spartanburg Regional Sports Medicine mission is to promote and integrate scientific research, education, and practical application of sports medicine to maintain and enhance physical performance, fitness, and quality of life.

The Spartanburg Regional Sports Medicine vision is to be a leader in providing service, education, and research to patients and referring physicians in Sports Medicine that is comprehensive, sustainable, and cohesive.

Spartanburg Regional Sports Medicine is comprised of 13 certified athletic trainers who provide coverage for five colleges and four high schools in the Spartanburg area. In addition to providing services for student-athletes at each institution, Spartanburg Regional Sports Medicine Athletic Trainers also provide athletic training services, physical therapy, wellness services, ergonomics training, orthotics, and CPR/AED training. Spartanburg Regional Sports Medicine also consists of board-certified physicians in specialized fields and physical therapists.
