Last season the two teams met in the final week of the regular season, with the Paladins coming up with a 58-21 victory in Grenville ... The Wofford-Furman rivalary dates back to 1889 and is the longest running series for the Terriers with the 84th meeting this weekend ... The Terriers are 2-1 on the season following a loss at Ohio University and wins at Charleston Southern and against Union ... Wofford is returning a total of 20 starters from last season and 49 lettermen overall ... Among the 20 returning starters are nine on offense, nine on defense and two specialists ... Key returners include All-SoCon offensive linemen Pat Illig and Clark Bishop ... In addition, the team will have back players such as Eric Breitenstein and Jeremy Marshall who missed a majority of last season due to injury ... The Terriers return the leading scorer (Christian Reed, 47 points), the leading rusher (Mitch Allen, 633 yards), the leading passer (Mitch Allen, 605 yards), the leading receiver (Brenton Bersin, 356 yards) and the top tackler (Tommy Irvin, 74 tackles) for the 2010 season. So far, Eric Breitenstein leads the team with 282 rushing yards and five touchdowns, Brenton Bersin has 107 receiving yards and Mitch Allen has completed five-of-ten passes along with 116 rushing yards. SeQuan Stanley leads the team with 24 tackles and Ameet Pall has six tackles for loss.
