Box Score CULLOWHEE, N.C. – The Wofford volleyball team picked up its third consecutive conference win on Wednesday night with a 3-0 road win over Western Carolina. Wofford won the opening set 25-22, the second set 25-21 and the third set 25-20. With the win, the Terriers move to 10-8 on the season and 3-1 in Southern Conference play while the Catamounts fall to 7-10 overall and 2-2 in conference.
 
Wofford freshman Catie Cronister finished with a match high 14 kills while hitting an impressive .414 on the night. Sophomore Colleen Reilly also finished with double digit kills, recording 11 kills on 18 attempts. The Terriers hit .211 as a team, while holding the Catamounts to a hitting percentage of just .107, the third lowest output by an opponent this season.
 
Madeline Savage and Lorissa King, both freshmen, paced the defense with 21 and 11 digs, respectively. King, the setter for the Terriers, also added 23 assists. M.E. Eberhardt contributed 16 assists and three service aces.
 
Wofford returns to action Friday, Oct. 7 at Chattanooga before taking on Furman in Greenville on Oct. 8. The Terriers are back at home on Oct. 11 against SC State at 7 p.m.
