Out of the half, Kent State went on a 4-0 run to extend the lead to 35-28 but the Terriers made three three pointers and went on a 9-0 run themselves to take a 37-35 lead. The game was within three points until 4:30 to go in the game when Kent State stretched it to as much as six. Garcia made a three pointer with 45 seconds to go to cut the lead to three but Kent State went on a 6-2 run to close out the game. 27 of Wofford's 31 second half points came off of made three's.
