SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Wofford men's basketball team got back to winning ways and head coach 
Mike Young recorded his 250
th career win as the Terriers downed Bob Jones 96-65 on Saturday afternoon in Jerry Richardson Indoor Stadium as part of a regional game in the Maui Jim Maui Invitational. With the win, Wofford moves to 2-2 on the season, while Bob Jones falls to 2-6.
 
"We are plugging offensively," said Young. "It is good to see a lot of guys have good games and hopefully they play even better tomorrow."
 
Four Terriers scored in double figures. 
Fletcher Magee scored 23 points to lead the Wofford offense in the win. The Lou Henson watch list honoree went 8-13 from the field, including 6-9 from beyond the arc. Junior center 
Matthew Pegram scored a career high 18 points. Pegram shot 66% (8-12) in the game and added two assists, two blocks and two steals to round out a nice showing.
 
Sophomore 
Nathan Hoover exploded for 18 points as well, tying a career high for the guard. Hoover had five assists and now has 12 in the last two games to spread the love. Hoover shot 50% from both the field and beyond the arc as he and Magee combined for 10 of Wofford's 14 made three's.
 
Cameron Jackson scored 16 points as the big man shot 77% (7-9) in the game. The junior also pulled down six rebounds and had two assists and two steals. Freshman 
Storm Murphy led Wofford with seven assists and zero turnovers.
 
Murphy now has 18 assists to just one turnover on the season. 
Keve Aluma, another freshman, had a team high and season high 10 rebounds in 22 minutes of action.
 
"That is what Wofford point guards do," Young said about Murphy's stellar assist to turnover ratio.
 
In total, 12 Terriers saw the court with eight scored in the win. Wofford shot 53.6% and held Bob Jones to just 42.6% from the field. Wofford never trailed in the contest and dominated throughout, scoring an even 48 points in each half.
 
Wofford has a quick turnaround and hosts North Florida on Sunday, Nov. 19 at 2 p.m. The game will be Wofford's fifth overall and fourth at home in nine days. North Florida fell to Mount St. Marys 84-81 on Saturday afternoon and are still looking for their first win of the season (0-5). The contest is Wofford's final as part of the Maui Jim Maui Invitational.
