Davidson, N.C. – The Wofford men's soccer team lost 3-0 on the road at Davidson on Friday evening. Davidson got the scoring started in the first half and padded their lead with two insurance goals to down the Terriers.

The Wildcats struck first in the 30
th minute when Jaylen Thompson finished a rebound opportunity inside the penalty area. Just two minutes later, Wofford's
Kristinn Sigurjonsson had a shot on goal that was saved by the Wildcat keeper to keep the Terriers off the board. Wofford created two more scoring chances in final minutes of the first half but were unable to capitalize. Davidson found an insurance goal in the 45
th minute when Quinn Dudek scored off the assist from Ned Morrissett.

Wofford started the second half by creating a chance on the offensive side but the Terriers could not find the back of the net. In the 85
th minute Davidson scored the goal to seal the win, this time from Ned Morrissett.

Despite the loss the Terriers totaled 10 shots in the game as well as three corner kicks.
Zach Aversano and
Kristinn Sigurjonsson led the team with two shots each.

The Terriers will return to the pitch on Tuesday, Septmeber 19
th when the team travels to Asheville to face UNC Asheville at 4:30 PM.
