Asheville, N.C. – The Wofford men's soccer team lost 2-0 on the road at UNC Asheville on Tuesday evening. The loss drops the Terriers to 0-7 on the season. The Bulldogs opened the scoring in the 15
th minute and added the insurance goal just 12 minutes later to secure the win.

Wofford started the game with two attacking chances, creating a corner kick opportunity that the Terriers could not finish. Wofford had two shots in the game before Asheville struck first. In the 15
th minute after a Wofford turnover, Felipe Dantas scored thanks to the assist from Ben Chapal.

Wofford responded with two shots of their own but neither found the back of the net. Moments later in the 27
th minute Ben Chapal scored thanks to the assist from Jackson Allen to end the game's scoring.

Despite the loss, the Terriers totaled 13 shots in the game as well as four corner kicks.

Sam Ross led the team with three shots a piece while
Matthew Reynolds recorded eight saves in the game.
