CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Wofford women's tennis team had an excellent outing this past weekend at the 49ers Invite in Charlotte, North Carolina, with five Terriers winning their singles flights in addition to taking home one of the doubles flights. Wofford was one of four teams competing over the weekend, including Coastal Carolina, Queens, and host UNC Charlotte. The Terriers that competed include
Cassidy Hicks,
Jenna Vroman,
Liz Massie,
Lilie Steryous,
Alexandra Hildell,
Brittney Wilbur,
Lauren Joch,
Kay Kluska, and
Annie Mayfield.

The Terriers made their presence known at the tournament, winning five of the eight singles flights, as
Cassidy Hicks (No. 2),
Lilie Steryous (No. 3),
Lauren Joch (No. 6),
Alexandra Hildell (No. 7), and
Brittney Wilbur (No. 8) all won their respective flights with wins over Charlotte, Coastal Carolina, and Queens.

Overall, Wofford won 16 singles matches throughout the weekend.

The Terriers also found a pair of winners in doubles action, with the duo of
Alexandra Hildell and
Brittney Wilbur representing Wofford in the fourth doubles flight to take home the win.

Next, the Terriers return back to the court on November 2-4, hosting the Wofford Invite all day in Spartanburg at Reeves Tennis Center.
