Box Score Spartanburg, SC – The Wofford men's soccer team dropped its final home game at Snyder Field as they fell to Furman by a score of 4-1.

With only one game remaining in the regular season, Wofford has an overall record of 4-11-1 and 2-2-1 in the conference. Furman's record goes to 10-6-1 and 4-1 in conference. The Terriers were able to send 4 shots at goal, two coming in each half. Grant Wollam made 5 saves throughout the contest.

Furman scored early in the match as Jack Shiels had a free header off of Miles Fenton's free kick. The Paladins would score a second in the 15^th minute when Connor Hubbard tucked the ball into the bottom left corner. Hubbard would score his second of the match in the 24^th minute to extend the lead to 3-0.

Furman added a fourth goal from Dylan Lane to signify the win. Wofford would prevent a shutout by scoring a late goal in the 88^th minute. Charlie Harris whipped in a cross and Walt Stevens got his head to it just inside the 18-yard box. The ball flew into the top right corner passed the outstretched keeper to make the score 4-1.

The Terriers will wrap up regular season action when they travel to Johnson City to take on ETSU on Saturday, November 2 at 7:00 p.m.
