THE MATCHUP:Â Wofford remains on the road with a trip to East Tennessee State on Saturday afternoon ... Wofford enters the game with a 2-2 record following a loss to South Carolina State in the season opener, a 21-14 loss to Samford to begin Southern Conference play, a 49-10 win over Gardner-Webb and a 51-36 win at VMI ... ETSU is 2-3 on the season after losses to Furman, VMI and Appalachian State, along with wins over Austin Peay and Shorter ... Last season the Terriers earned a 30-17 win over the Bucs in Spartanburg, with Wofford winning the last eight games in the series ... ETSU was 8-4 overall last season and 6-2 to finish tied for first in the Southern Conference ... They lost at Jacksonville State in the first round of the FCS Playoffs ... Wofford is looking for a return to the FCS Playoffs after reaching the second round last season with a 9-4 overall record and a 6-2 mark as Southern Conference Champions ...
