SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Wofford women's tennis team added their fifth sweep of the season on Saturday afternoon, earning a 7-0 win over North Greenville at Reeves Tennis Center. The Terriers move to 7-1 overall, as today's win marks their fourth straight win in the month of February.

Wofford would get things started, taking all three doubles matches to jump out with the 1-0 lead early on.

The tandem of
Alexandra Hildell and
Brittney Wilbur added another doubles shutout to their resume on the No. 3 court, as
Lauren Joch and
Liz Massie (No. 2) followed in their footsteps with a 6-0 win over NGU's Fernanada Santos de Lucca and Lizeth Medina.

Cassidy Hicks and
Jenna Vroman would then secure the doubles point with a 6-2 win over Gala Castello and Jhovana Brena on the No. 1 court.

The Terriers would then dominate singles play, taking all six singles matches on the day.

The first singles win came from the No. 5 position, as Joch defeated Tankersley, 6-1, 6-0, followed by senior
Cassidy Hicks, who pushed her No. 2 singles win streak to seven upon a 6-1, 6-3 victory over de Lucca.

Sophomores
Jenna Vroman (No. 1) and
Kay Kluska (No. 4) piled on the next two singles wins (6-1, 6-3 and 6-0, 6-3 respectively), as sophomore
Brittney Wilbur would pick up another singles shutout over Dalious on the No. 6 court.

Freshman
Lilie Steryous then went on to finish the match, earning a competitive 6-3, 6-4 victory over Brena in No. 3 singles to complete the 7-0 sweep for the Terriers.

The Terriers take the court again next Saturday, February 23, hosting Johnson C. Smith at Reeves Tennis Center for a 10 a.m. start time.Â
