Â
Kay Kluska and
Lilie Steryous found themselves down early, 5-2, to Tracy Johnson and Samantha Calais on the No. 2 court. The duo, however, showcased their resilience, coming back to win five games to earn their sixth doubles win of the season in dramatic fashion (7-6), granting Wofford the 1-0 lead.
Â
The doubles point proved to be pivotal, as Wofford and Presbyterian split singles with three wins each, though, the early 1-0 advantage gave the Terriers the edge in the long run.
Â
Lauren Joch added her fourth straight win in No. 5 singles, 6-1, 6-2, over Leeman to hold a 2-0 lead at the start of singles play. The Blue Hose retaliated with a win on the No. 2 court, as Tracy Johnson handed senior
Cassidy Hicks her first singles loss of the season in a competitive 6-4, 6-3 match.
Â
Freshman
Lilie Steryous would answer for the Terriers, holding on for a hard-fought victory in No. 3 singles, 7-5, 7-6, over Samantha Calais for her fifth straight win, though, Presbyterian responded again with a win in No. 6 singles to cut the deficit to 3-2.

Freshman
Liz Massie (No. 6) took the first set, 6-3, over PC's Katie Thompson, however, Thompson would force a tiebreaker set and ultimately prevail in earning the win for the Blue Hose on the No. 6 court.
Â
Jenna Vroman faced a challenge on the No. 1 court against Sydney Patton, dropping the first set but taking the second, 6-1, to force a tiebreaker set. Patton jumped out to a 4-2 lead, though, Vroman went on to rally off four straight games to earn her seventh singles win of the year and clinch the win for Wofford up 4-2 with one match remaining.
Â
Presbyterian would take No. 4 singles to end the match, but Wofford would claim the 4-3 victory nonetheless at the end of the day.
