Jenna Vroman picked up their sixth straight doubles victory, while Vroman, senior
Curran Carver, and freshman
Lilie Steryous added singles victories on the day. The loss drops Wofford to 8-4 overall.

Cassidy Hicks and
Jenna Vroman rung in the first doubles win of the day, 6-4, on the No. 1 court for their eighth doubles victory as a pair, though, Gardner-Webb (3-5) would take the next two matchups to earn the doubles point starting out.

The Terriers fought hard with the next two matches ending in tiebreaks, as
Kay Kluska and
Lilie Steryous fell, 7-5, to Valentine Limauge and Manon Delsol in No. 2 Doubles.

Curran Carver and
Brittney Wilbur battled for the doubles point on the No. 3 court, but would unfortunately come up short to Adrienne Vesely and Milica Panic to end doubles play trailing 1-0.

The Terriers jumped out taking the first two singles matches to start singles play with a 2-1 lead.

Curran Carver brought in her fourth straight singles win in straight sets on the No. 5 court against Delsol, as
Lilie Steryous (No. 3) followed in her footsteps with her sixth singles win of the year against Limauge.

Hicks faced a solid matchup in Daniela Naupari on the No. 2 court, forcing a tiebreak but coming up just short in the second set to knot the match at 2-2.

Jenna Vroman handled Miljana Ristic in a three-set comeback on the No. 1 court, holding Ristic scoreless (6-0) in the third set for her sixth straight and ninth singles win of the season.

The Runnin' Bulldogs then went on to rally to take the last two remaining singles matches to earn the 4-3 edge at the end of the match.

Brittney Wilbur saw a competitive matchup against Vesely in No. 6 singles, but would ultimately fall short after dropping the first set in tiebreak to tie things up at 3-3.

With the match on the line,
Kay Kluska (No. 4) faced off with Gardner-Webb's Mayumi Saguchi, dropping a close first set in tiebreak as well. Saguchi would then hold on in the second set, capping a 6-2 finish to grant the Runnin' Bulldogs their third win of the season.

Next, the Terriers open up SoCon play on Saturday, March 16, traveling to face UNC Greensboro. First serve is scheduled for 1 p.m.
