Kyle Barr and sophomore
Edu Villar picked up singles wins, though, Gardner-Webb would rally to take four of the six singles matches on the day. The loss moves Wofford to 4-9 on the year.

The Terriers started the day taking the doubles points with victories in No. 3 and No. 2 doubles.

Lucas Cerbelli and
Diego Losada knocked off Jacob Wall and Sebastian Harris, 6-2, on the No. 3 court to kick things off for Wofford, earning their first win together as a duo on the season.

Omar Williams and
Bryce Keim then dropped Stefano Puga and Breno Plentz, 6-3, on the No. 2 court for their sixth doubles win of the season, granting Wofford the 1-0 lead.

The Runnin' Bulldogs jumped out to a 3-1 lead on the Terriers through singles play, as Wofford would bring in the next two singles wins to knot the match at 3-3.

Gardner-Webb's Ross Gilbert defeated Cerbelli in No. 4 singles to start, as
Omar Williams fell on the No. 2 court to Millen Hurrion, 6-3, 6-3.

Julian Chousa then fell in a challenge at No. 1 singles to Gardner-Webb's Maximillian Scholl, giving the Runnin' Bulldogs the 3-1 lead.

With the match in jeopardy,
Edu Villar answered in straight sets for the Terriers in No. 3 singles, dropping Plentz, 7-5, 6-3, for his fourth victory of the season.

Kyle Barr then followed in No. 6 singles, downing Puga, 6-3, 7-6, for his second straight singles win, while also tying the match at 3-3 with one singles match left.

No. 5 singles would be the decider for the match, with freshman
Bryce Keim finding himself in a battle with Joahn Fors. Fors took the first set, though, Keim battled by pushing a tiebreaker set in the second, 7-6 (12-10). Unfortunately, Fors would hold off the comeback, taking the third set, 6-2, to give the Runnin' Bulldogs the 4-3 edge at the end of the match.

Due to rain forecast, tomorrow's match at UNC Charlotte has been postponed until further notice. The Terriers will return back to SoCon play on Saturday, March 16, hosting Mercer at Reeves Tennis Center for a noon start time.Â
