CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Wofford women's tennis team competed in the Queens Invitational that concluded on Sunday, September 22. The Terriers won seventeen singles matches and added eight wins in the doubles competition.
In singles,
Jenna Vroman had wins over Queens, Davidson and Wingate in the first flight.
Liz Massie had a singles win in both the third and fourth flights.
Georgia Fischer had wins against Queens and Wingate in the fourth flight.
Lilie Steryous had a win over Queens in the second flight, while Alex Hildell had a win over Queens in the fifth flight and added win over Wingate in the seventh flight.
Kay Kluska had a win in the fifth flight and a win in the eighth flight. Britt Wilbur won over Wingate and Queens in the sixth flight and
Rebecca Rubanov had a win over Queens in the seventh flight.
Ansley Hardeman had two wins in the ninth flight.
During doubles, Vroman and Steryous had two wins in the first flight. Fischer and Wilbur had wins over Queens and Wingate in the third flight. Four other doubles teams earned a win for the Terriers.
Teams competing included Wofford, Queens, Davidson, and Wingate.
Next, the Terriers will play in the Charlotte Invite from October 11 to 13.
